FROM THE ARCHIVE
Everyday AI should strengthen our judgment.
Useful assistance starts with knowing what to delegate and what to check.

AI is becoming part of ordinary routines: drafting a message, explaining an unfamiliar term, or organizing a set of notes. I welcome those conveniences. I also want us to keep asking whether a tool helps us understand our work or merely produces something that looks finished.
Delegate preparation with a clear purpose
A useful starting point is a task whose result we can inspect. Ask for a clearer outline, a comparison of ideas, or questions to bring to a meeting. Give the tool enough context to be useful while keeping confidential information within approved arrangements. The person using the result should be able to explain why it fits the situation.
Keep verification close to the decision
A fluent answer can make a weak assumption easy to miss. Before acting, check names, dates, calculations, and the source of important assertions. The level of review should reflect the consequence of being wrong. A draft invitation and a decision affecting someone’s money, employment, or access to a service deserve different treatment.
Protect the habit of thinking
For me, the most useful personal rule is to form an initial view before asking AI to refine it. Then invite disagreement: what is missing, what alternative explanation exists, and what evidence would change the conclusion? That makes the tool part of a learning process. In our daily lives, the durable benefit of AI should be greater understanding and useful time returned to people, with responsibility still visible.
How Genellipse can help
Genellipse can help organizations turn everyday AI use into a structured enablement programme. We can work with teams to identify appropriate tasks, define review expectations, and evaluate representative examples. Cortex AI offers a platform for exploring governed assistance, while our consulting approach keeps the business purpose and the user’s responsibility explicit.
