FROM THE ARCHIVE
People should help design the work AI will change.
A credible adoption plan makes room for employee knowledge and concern.

An organization can announce a productivity objective before understanding what employees believe is about to happen to their work. I think that is a missed opportunity. The people doing a task often know its hidden dependencies and can identify where an attractive automation idea will struggle.
Invite the operational explanation
Ask an experienced colleague to describe the parts of the job that are easy to observe and the parts that require judgment. A short task may involve knowledge accumulated over years: recognizing an unusual case, knowing whom to consult, or noticing when a document does not fit. Those details should influence the design.
Be specific about the change
Discuss which activities may be assisted, which responsibilities remain, and what new review or support work will be created. Avoid promising a simple answer where the organization has not yet made a decision. People deserve a clear account of the proposed change and a route to contribute to it.
Give learning time a real place in the plan
Training cannot be an additional burden placed on top of a full workload without discussion. I would make time for practice, feedback, and adjustment part of delivery. Genellipse’s role as a partner should include helping teams understand how the new workflow fits their responsibilities. The aim is an organization that can use the technology thoughtfully, with employees participating in the improvement rather than merely receiving it.
How Genellipse can help
Genellipse can help involve operational users in process discovery, workflow design, and acceptance reviews. Our digital transformation and consulting services can connect the technical change to responsibilities, adoption requirements, and support needs. The engagement can begin with one process, giving employees a concrete opportunity to influence how the improvement is introduced.
